Create & Edit Display Groups in the EVERYWHERE Hub

The EVERYWHERE Hub allows you to create default display groups that make it easier to track and visualize device activity.  These groups give teams quick access to essential tracking information and support efficient monitoring.

Before You Start

Make sure:

  • You have access to the EVERYWHERE Hub
  • You have permission to manage tracking and devices
  • The devices or team folders you want to display are active and assigned to your account

Steps:

1. On the Tracking page, click the Groups icon at the top left.

2. Click the blue plus icon to add a group to the map.

3. Click the pencil icon labeled New group to start building your first Display Group.

4. Name this group Latest Point.

5. Set Group Type to Device Tracks from the dropdown, then click Accept to create the group.

6. Choose Who Appears in the Group

  • Search for devices or a team folder, or click the search tree icon on the right to choose who appears in the group.
  • Select the checkbox next to a team folder, or pick individual devices.
  • Click Save when you are done.

7. Duplicate the Group for Recent Points

  • Open the Saved tab.
  • Click the duplicate icon on the Latest Point group.
  • Rename the copy to Recent Points.
  • Click Accept.

8. Set Group Colors

  • In the Saved view, click the colored circle at the top right of each group.
  • Select the color you want, then confirm.

Giving each group its own color makes it easy to tell the latest point apart from the recent trail on the map.

9. Turn Recent Points into a Breadcrumb Trail

  • Click the pencil icon next to Recent Points.
  • On the default Device tab, confirm the correct teams or devices, then open the Location tab.
  • Under Live Stream, select the second radio button and enter 100 to show the last 100 track points for each device.

10. Filter the Trail by Time

  • Check the box next to Limit time frame.
  • Open the Minutes dropdown and select Hours.
  • Enter 10 to show track points from the past 10 hours for each device.
  • Click Update to save your Location tab settings.

11. Click Save to apply your changes, or Save & Close to finish.


You now have two Display Groups working together: one that shows each device's latest point and one that shows a recent breadcrumb trail, each with its own color and time filter.
