[Hub for Admins](https://info.everywherecomms.com/knowledge/hub-for-admins?hsLang=en) # How to Create a Hub User (Internal) ## Use these steps when a customer asks us to add someone to their Hub. Customers send these requests to their account rep or to support, and we set up the account for them.  **Internal use only.** The public article [How to Create Additional Users in the Hub](https://info.everywherecomms.com/knowledge/how-to-create-additional-users-in-the-hub?hsLang=en) tells customers that EVERYWHERE creates users for them. Do not send these steps to a customer unless that policy changes.  ### What you need from the customer - The new user's full name - Their email address - Which team folders they should see - Any special permissions they asked for --- ### Step 1: Log in to the Hub Go to [www.everywhere-hub.com](https://www.everywhere-hub.com/) and sign in to your admin account. ### Step 2: Open Users  Select **Users,** from the menu on the left hand side ![](https://info.everywherecomms.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-29-2026-02-59-08-0378-PM.png?width=206&height=391&name=image-png-Oct-29-2026-02-59-08-0378-PM.png) ### Step 3: Add a user![](https://info.everywherecomms.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-29-2026-02-57-41-1991-PM.png?width=216&height=171&name=image-png-Oct-29-2026-02-57-41-1991-PM.png) Click the blue **plus** icon at the bottom right. Then click the **person** icon to add a user.   ### Step 4: Enter the user's details 1. Leave the account type set to **User**. 2. Enter the username as first initial plus last name, all lowercase. For Jane Smith, that is **jsmith**. 3. Enter the user's email address. ### Step 5: Open the advanced settings Click **Show Advanced** at the bottom left of the form. ### Step 6: Set the advanced settings 1. Under **Landing Page**, set **After login, automatically go to** to **Tracking**. 2. Turn on **Audit**. 3. Turn on **Dismiss Alerts**. 4. Turn on **Delete Messages**.   ![](https://info.everywherecomms.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-1.jpeg?width=365&height=350&name=undefined-1.jpeg)  Leave **Command Read-Only Devices**, **Create Devices**, **Create/Edit Users**, and **Edit Encryption Key** off unless the customer asked for them. ### Step 7: Submit Click **Submit** at the bottom right. ### Step 8: Find the new user Search for the username on the Users page and click the user to open their record. ### Step 9: Set folder permissions 1. Click the blue **pencil** icon at the bottom right. 3. Set each team folder to **None**, **Read-Only**, or **Modify**, based on what the customer asked for. 4.
