Why can’t I use my Hub email to log into the App?
This article explains why you can sign into the Hub but may not be able to sign into the mobile app using the same credentials. This is a common question for new users.
What you need to know
The Everywhere Hub and the Everywhere App are two separate tools and are considered two seperate users.
They work together, but they are not the same system.
Because of this, they also have different login processes.
How they work together
-
The Hub runs in your web browser and is used by team leaders.
It is used for managing users, devices, alerts, and messaging. -
The App runs on your phone and is used by field users.
It is used for personal safety, messaging, and sending check-ins.
Even though they are separate, the Hub can send messages directly to the App and vice versa.
This is why it may feel like they are the same system, but they are not.

Note: You can however, assign your e-mail address to a device in the Hub. This would then allow you to use your email address to login to the app in place of the Configuration Key.
