What is a "Configuration Key"?
A unique code that helps your the system know what settings to use for your device. It acts like an instruction card that tells the software how to behave. This article explains what a configuration key is, why it matters, and where to find it.
What Does a Configuration Key Do?
- Keeps things consistent – Its a code that makes sure your that EVERYWHERE app has the same "configuration" as your device does in the Hub.
Where Can You Find It?
- Device Details sheet from order confirmation email
- The EVERYWHERE Hub:
- From the Devices page, select which device your need the configuration key for.
- Once on the Device profile page, select the "Settings" gear at the bottom of the page:

- Under the heading titled "Mobile" next to the key icon. If the configuration key is being used you will need to "Release Key" see below:

- If the configuration key is not in used you can copy and paste the entire code in to the EVERYWHERE app to pair.
Troubleshooting

Error: Invalid Key
- Check for typos. Keys are case-sensitive.
- Make sure you are using the latest key provided by your admin.

Device Not Connecting
- Confirm the key matches the one in your account.
- Restart the device after entering the key.
